Christy, Jennifer and Walli

We've become very latent in our posts about our co-workers for which I must apologize. Christy, Jennifer and Walli have just left us today and we have yet to introduce them in the blog. Shameful, I know.

Christy and Jennifer are coworkers, and Walli is Christy's mother. Christy and Walli are members of the church but Jennifer, like me, is not. Christy and Jennifer are from Denver (and Christy has an important message to give to Doug, hopefully she won't forget), and Walli is from Strasburg, Ohio. They've been a very lighthearted group and worked hard by our sides these past few days. Walli took over the cooking duties from Jennifer and Walli who were here previously (from Fort Wayne). We're going to miss them in our last few days here, especially because we will be shorthanded for the weekend. Hopefully they'll have a comfortable trip home, and not forget us too quickly.

Hi Everyone, We are having the most rain I've seen in a long time. You could almost say "It is raining cats and dogs!' We're glad to have it though because everything is so dry up here. It was very nice to read what Joann had to say since she sees things with fresh eyes. We keep hoping that things will magicalliy get better but I know that only happens with hard owrk, which is what all of you are doing. Matt, I really enjoyed your blog on Hans.We sure could use a man like him around here in Ct. I say thank you to him for all of his efforts and for his influences. By the way Hans, that was an invitation if you ever get to visit Connecticut.

It"s me again. I also wanted to make a comment and a request. We have heard about the wonderful food Ruth has prepared for you guys but I don't think we have seen a picture of her or her house. As one who has cooked many meals for others over the years, I think the lady deserves a huge hug and "THANK YOU!!!!!" As long as you are being so well cared for, the fears that we had as parents no longer exist. Agiain I say THANK YOU to all those that have kept our boys safe.

We're slowly getting around to making posts on Ruth and Jim, who have been our greatest benefactors since we've been down here (not to mention completely selfless). Hans was the first of the "big three."
